History of Reiki
Dr Mikao Usui training in the art of Reiki Healing differs from other forms of natural hands-on healing methods. It involves the use of Reiju or attunements and symbols that Sensei Usui discovered. The Reiju connects students and clients to their energy body.
Sensei Usui’s would teach everyone he met Reiki, there’s records that he attuned more than 2,000 people.
Reiki Training at Jacksfeet
There are three levels of training.
Levels One and Two both consist of two days of training, during the two days you will receive four attunements, instruction in self-care and caring for others. There’s no set time between attaining each Level, you can take your time as long as you like between the levels. You do not have to move onto the next level either, you can stay at Level One or Two. Your not obliged to move onto masters if you do not want to become a master.
The training runs over two days, this being the traditional way that Master Usui taught how to do attunements. A lot of changes take place in the energy bodies, chakra’s physically realigning because of this it’s gentler to do the treatments over two days. There’s also a lot to learn it’s not easy to cover all the subjects in one day there’s a lot of practical and hands-on learning to do. I like my students to go away feeling that they have. really got the knowledge and answers they need, and the ability to work straight away
Level One
Sensei Usui dreamed that everyone in the world would receive Reiki training and was attuned to at least level one. At Level one the Reiju (attunements) bring the major chakra’s into alignment and works on balancing the physical and metabolic body. You can work on others at this level, however, it does benefit you to have level two when working professionally.
The first day, you will receive your 1st and 2nd Reiki Reiju.
On the second day. you will receive your 3rd and 4th Reiki Reiju.
Also included in the tuition, the self-care routine that you perform on yourself for 28 days post-training. Instruction in how to perform and apply Reiki Healing treatment to others. How to clear the Aura and Chakras, Relevant anatomy and physiology.
Level Two
To become attuned to Level Two you must hold and have received the Level One attunements first. Level Two’s for those who want to practice Reiki seriously as a practitioner, add it into your repertoire of treatments. Likewise, some of us like to know more and able to do more, in this case, Level Twos for you. In Level two you receive a further four attunements and you learn the first 3 Reiki symbols used for distance healing. These enable you to send distance healing plus intensify your treatments when using them directly on your clients. The Level Two Reiju work on the emotional and mental body.
On day one, You will receive a Level 1 attunement to bring your Chakras back into alignment. Later in the day, you will receive the first of your level 2 levels Reiki Reiju
On day two, you will receive your second and third Level Two Reiki Reiju’s.
In addition to the attunements, I will teach you the first three of the Reiki Symbols. These three symbols open a gate and allow you to send Reiki to another person without them being present. This tools useful when a client requires three consecutive treatments and their presence not required.
You will learn how to draw the symbols both on paper and in the air, how to use them on the body, how to stack them for distance healing . Using the symbols within a treatment magnifies and enhances your treatment draw them on the client and in your hands to magnify the energy you are channeling.
Level Three ‘Mastery’
To become a Reiki Master you must have been attuned to both Level One and Level Two. Once you are ready you can take your Master’s training. Here at this level, you will be taught how to teach Reiki and how to attune others. This course is run over several weeks as you will need to assist at least one Level one and one Leve Two attunement training workshops. Preferably two of each alternatively as many as you feel the need to.
Day one of your attunements, you will receive a Level One attunement and a Level Two attunement
The next day, day two you will receive your Master Reiki Reiju’s
When you are ready at one of the courses you are assisting at you will receive your 4 Reiju to masters level and all the other symbols including the Master symbol.
Included in the courses
What do I need for these courses?
- Paper, Pencils and Pens for taking notes
- To wear comfortable clothes that do not restrict movement
- Wear layers so that you can put on/take layers off
- Thick socks/slippers to wear during training
- Lunch, bring your own especially if you’re on a special diet. Bring food to share.
Venue’s for the Courses Levels One and Two
Like the other courses, I hold pre-arranged courses at Jacksfeets centre. You are welcome to book on and attend one of these. However, if you are wanting to host a course, I will travel to you if there is a few of you. Learn in the comfort of your own home, a friends house, or a centre minimum of 3 people. I advertise the workshops on my Eventspage Ticket Source and Face Book, if you can not make any prebooked ones do not worry there will be more arranged. The workshops are practical based and will involve taking part in the exercises
Venue for the Masters Course
To become a master you have to assist and attend preferably at least two Level One and Level Two courses. You may have to travel because these courses venues exist where the students training happens upon.
